This collection is inspired by a 1760 to 1900 British exhibition focusing on women of the period. This project’s many challenges were to create gift shop items that would appeal to artistic, female gift shop buyers, aged 25-40. My resolution was to create a slightly cheeky and open interpretation, with quirky designs that are difficult to find on the high street. I also incorporated many different strokes and marks to create a hand drawn feel that would appeal to people who appreciate handmade craft items.
